About

I was born in Rome, Italy (1/2/1976) and I graduated in electronic engineering in 2001 (University of Perugia). I have many years of experience in writing software/firmware, mainly for automation, video surveillance and alarm systems. Since graduating from university, I worked mainly with two IT companies:
h24net.it (2002 - 2005) and STRHOLD (now REweb, 2006 - 2015).
From 2015 to 2019 I worked independently on the maintenance of systems previously developed and installed with STRHOLD.

Key Skills

I write code in several programming languages, but my preferences are for:
C++. C, JavaScript and Python.

Main Projects

I designed, developed and maintained the whole alarm and video surveillance system of Bologna’s regional railways (made together with REweb company) for about ten years.
I also wrote a music notation editor listed (see this page) as one of the three official front-end applications for GNU LilyPond:

In addition, I contribute to other open source projects as well:

And I love to write bug-free applications and libraries from scratch. You can have a better idea of my skills by directly looking at my code:
